ABSTRACT
Human histoplasmosis is a cutaneo- systemic mycosis endemic in many regions of the world. It exists in two forms: the African form and the American form. The American form is rare in Africa and is most often founded in immunocompromised patients due to HIV/AIDS infection. The authors report a case of American histoplasmosis in a 47-years-old female patient living in sub-saharian Africa and seronegative for HIV.
